Another week has gone by so it is time to take a look at my progress. Sometimes I still have trouble believing the progress I have made over the past year and half. I think I am doing pretty good for a guy who works full time in factory and is still learning about investing and the stock market. There was not a whole lot of activity in the accounts this week. Let’s check out the details below.
Dividends
This week I received the following dividends in the Roth IRA:
- Credit Suisse X-Links Silver Shares Covered Call ETN (SLVO) – $0.05
This week I received the following dividends in the Traditional IRA:
- Fidelity Government Money Market (SPAXX) – $0.01
- Citigroup Inc. (C) – $5.70
The combined income from dividends this week was $5.76. The dividend from SLVO was automatically reinvested into SLVO. The other dividends will be reinvested into other positions.
Buys/Sells
The only buy this week was in the Traditional IRA:
- Kroger (KR) – purchased 7 shares.
There were no other buys or sells in the accounts this week.
Options Trading
The following was the options trading activity for the week:
- Verizon (VZ) – sold a covered call at a strike price of $60 expiring on June 18, 2021 for a premium of $14.31 after fees.

- Organigram Holdings (OGI) – sold a covered call at a strike price of $4 expiring on July 16, 2021 for a premium of $4.71 after fees.
The total options premium received this week was $33.19.

The total amount invested across all accounts is $123,398. Overall, this puts the accounts up $509 over the previous week.
Wrap Up
The combined income from dividends and options premium this week was $38.95. It was another slow week for generating income in the accounts. All of the accounts were up this week which is nice to see for a change. That about wraps it up for the week. Thanks for reading!
