Wrap Up

This week I did receive $6.14 in interest on my bank accounts. The total amount of dividends, options premium and interest received this week was $398.64. Despite the accounts being down it was a good week for cash flow. On the options trading front, I was able to roll out the covered call on SCHD and collect some more premium but this trade still remains in the money. Another options trade, a covered call on Kroger Co. (KR) is in jeopardy of having my shares called away. The trade was initiated on January 25, 2022 at strike price of $48 expiring on March 18, 2022. At the time, KR was trading around $45. Since then, KR has shot up over 30% closing at $58.94 on Friday. Who knew KR was a growth stock? I will try to manage this trade over the next couple of weeks but may wind up getting my shares called away. I’ll have to see how this plays out. That wraps it up for this week. Thanks for following along!

On a side note, I have added a Recommended Resources in the menu. It currently is a work in progress. It will contain blogs and YouTube channels that I enjoy as well as some sites that I use. I hope you take the time to check it out.
