This week was another down week for the stock market. This seems to be a trend. The S&P 500 was down -2.39% for the week while the NASDAQ was down -3.93% for the week. All of my accounts were down this week as well. I really wish I had more money to invest right now because there are several positions in my portfolio that look undervalued right now such as AVGO, BEPC, JPM, MMM, TSCO, TXN, USB, V, AMT, HBAN, IIPR, OHI and STOR. I have a regularly scheduled contribution next week in the Roth IRA and maybe I can get some option premium in the Traditional IRA to put to work buying this sale on some of these great companies. That said, let’s check out how my week went.
Dividends
The following dividends were received in the Traditional IRA this week:
- Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. (WBD) – $18.16 (This is cash in lieu of fractional shares from the spinoff from AT&T. I am treating it as a “special dividend”)
- W.P. Carey Inc. (WPC) – $56.31
- U.S. Bancorp (USB) – $16.44
- Realty Income Corp. (O) – $12.89
The “dividend” from WBD was deposited to the core account to be reinvested at a future time. The remaining dividends were reinvested into the underlying positions.
The following dividends were received in the Roth IRA this week:
- Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) – $0.54
- Medical Properties Trust Inc. (MPW) – $1.32
- Main Street Capital Corp. (MAIN) – $0.18
- Innovative Industrial Properties Inc. (IIPR) – $2.58
- Store Capital Corp. (STOR) – $2.30
- STAG Industrial Inc. (STAG) – $0.13
All of the dividends received this week in the Roth IRA were reinvested into the underlying positions.
The total amount of dividends received this week was $110.85.

The following buys were made in the Traditional IRA this week:
- Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. (WBD) – 53 shares (this is not really a buy, but it is a distribution from the spinoff from T)

Wrap Up
The total amount of dividends and options premium received this week was $184.74. The income generated from the accounts was definitely much better than last week but nothing too spectacular. The short week for the stock market kept the activity in the accounts down a little bit. Friday is usually my big day for buying stocks and options trading, but the market was closed on Friday this week. Next week looks like a slow week for dividends. That wraps it up for this week. Thanks for following along!
