Dividends, Investing and Options Trading Weekly Update 7/15/22

After an up week last week the stock market finished the week down. Both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ finished down this week. Despite the down week in the stock market my accounts were up this week. The main reason my accounts finished up was because of the contributions I made. Let’s check out the details of my weekly update for dividends, investing and options trading.

This week I made a purchase thru lolli.com which increased the amount of bitcoin I own by a little bit. The value of the bitcoin I own is around $14 which is up $2 from the previous week.

This brings the total amount invested to about $128,448. Week over week, the total amount invested increased by $291. You can see all of the companies and funds I invest in by clicking on “Overall Portfolio” in the menu above.

Wrap Up

The combined income from dividends and options premium totaled $231.41 this week. This week was a good week for income from the accounts. Investing in this bear market has been a good learning experience. Because the market is down, I can buy more income for less money. The down market has also taught me that I need to refine my options trading strategy to deal with a market downturns better. That wraps it up for this weekly update on dividends, investing and options trading. Thanks for following along!
