March has come to an end. This month was a very good month for dividends received but not such a good month for options trading. Let’s take a look at how much dividends and options premium I received for March.
March is one of my big months for dividends thanks mostly to SCHD. SCHD paid me a total of $101.65 this month. For the month, I received a total of $509.51. This is over a $100 increase over March 2022 when I received $406.45.
Options premium received in March was down, totaling $231.04. Premium was hard to come by this month for the positions I have been trading. Below is chart of all the options trades I made in made in March.

The total amount of income produce from my accounts for March was $745.33. This includes dividends, options premium and interest. All of this income was reinvested back into the accounts.
Seeing the income my accounts are producing is very encouraging. It let’s me know that I am on the right path to a better future. The dividend growth has been great to watch over time. It wasn’t too long ago when I was trying to get my first $500 in dividends for a month. Now I expect to see $500 in a month at least four months out of the year. As always, I will continue to invest and reinvest the dividends and options premium. Thanks for following along!
