Dividends and Options Trading September 2023

September has come to an end so it is time for another update. September was my biggest month yet for dividends received. Options trading was down again this month. To be fair, August and September were extremely busy months for me so I did not spend very much time with options trading. Let’s take a look at how much dividends and options premium I received for September.

For the month, I received a total of $649.96 in dividends. This is a significant increase over September 2022 when I received $479.56 in dividends. This is a whopping 35.5% increase year over year. For the year I have received $3,933.38 in dividends. I am well on pace to reach my goal of $5,000 dividends received for the year.

Options premium received in September was not very good, totaling $35.71. Below is chart of all the options trades I made in September. As stated earlier, I have been really busy the past couple of months and not paying much attention to my options trading. I expect in October to be able to spend more time on options trading so the numbers should rebound.

The total amount of income produce from my accounts for September was $746.60. This includes dividends, options premium, and interest.

September was a great month for dividends and my dividends continue to grow year over year. This is encouraging and let’s me know I am on the right path. As always, I will continue to invest and reinvest the dividends and options premium. Following this plan will allow the income from my accounts to grow. One day it will be enough to cover my expenses and allow me to retire. Thanks for following along!
