After an up week the previous week, this week was a down week for my accounts. This week saw a decent amount of dividends received. Also, I made buys in each my brokerage accounts including adding a couple of new positions. The options trading was not very active this week. Let’s check out the details for the week.
Dividends
This week I received the following dividends in the Traditional IRA:
- Fidelity Government Money Market (SPAXX) – $0.39
- Hanes Brands Inc. (HBI) – $15.00
- Visa Inc. (V) – $6.61
- Kroger Co. (KR) – $0.22
- Enbridge Inc. (ENB) – $69.72
This week I received the following dividends in the Roth IRA:
- Fidelity Government Money Market (SPAXX) – $0.02
- Nationwide NASDAQ 100 Risk Managed Income ETF (NUSI) – $2.15
- Amplify CWP Enhanced Dividend ETF (DIVO) – $1.30
All of the dividends received this week were reinvested into the underlying positions. The total amount of dividends received came to $95.44.
Buys/Sells
This week I made the following buys in the Traditional IRA:
- Vanguard Total Stock Market Index ETF (VTI) – 0.10 shares
- Tractor Supply Co. (TSCO) – 0.10 shares
- 3M Co. (MMM) – 0.10 shares
- Lowes Companies Inc. (LOW) – 0.10 shares
This week I made the following buys in the Roth IRA:
- Amplify CWP Enhance Dividend ETF (DIVO) – 0.416 shares
- Digital Realty Trust Inc. (DLR) – 0.073 shares
- Innovative Industrial Properties Inc. (IIPR) – 0.148 shares
- Invesco NASDAQ Next Generation ETF (QQQJ) – 0.195 shares
- J.P. Morgan Equity Premium Income ETF (JEPI) – 0.26 shares
- Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF (SCHD) – 0.063 shares
- Vanguard Growth Index ETF (VUG) – 0.040 shares
In the 401k this week, I made the following buys :
- Vanguard Total Bond Market Index Fund – 2.4718 units
- Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund – 8.6374 units
- DFA Commodity Strategy Portfolio – 1.1718 units
- Vanguard Total International Stock Market Index Fund – 2.1436 units
In the taxable brokerage account this week, I made the following buys:
- MercadoLibre Inc. (MELI) – 0.00502 shares
- Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) – 1.12262 shares (new position)
- Materialise Nv – ADR (MTLS) – 0.13633 shares
- SoFi Technologies Inc. (SOFI) – 1.32038 shares (new position)
No sells were made this week.
Options Trading
In the Traditional IRA, I made the following options trades this week:
Opened Positions
- Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) – sold a covered call at a strike price of $20.00 with an expiration date of June 10, 2022. The premium received for this trade was $4.71.
Expired Positions
- Verizon (VZ) – a covered call at a strike price of $52.50 with an expiration date of June 3, 2022 expired out of the money. This trade was held for about 7 days for a profit of $7.56.
- Camping World Holdings (CWH) – a covered call at a strike price of $28.50 with an expiration date of June 3, 2022 expired out of the money. This trade was held for about 10 days for a profit of $39.31.
- AT&T Inc. (T) – two covered calls at a strike price of $22.00 with an expiration date of June 3, 2022 expired out of the money. This trade was held for about 11 days for a profit of $5.63.
For the week, I received $4.71 in options premium.
Account Updates
The Traditional IRA finished the week at about $118,040 invested. As a result, this account decreased by -$1,980 week over week.
The Roth IRA finished the week at about $3,381 invested. As a result, this account gained $63 week over week. When the $100 contribution made this week is factored in, the account finished down for the week.
The 401k finished the week at about $12,479 invested. As a result, this account gained $164 week over week. When the $269 contribution made this week is factored in, the account finished down for the week.
The taxable brokerage account finished the week at about $360 invested. As a result, this account gained $21 week over week. When the $25 contribution made this week is factored in, the account finished down for the week.
The little bit of bitcoin in my account finished the week at about $16. Week over week, this account remained flat.
This brings the total amount invested to about $134,276. As a result, the total amount invested decreased by -$1,732 week over week. You can see all of the positions in my portfolio by clicking “Portfolios” in the menu above.
Wrap Up
This week I received a total of $100.15 of income from dividends and options premium. June is setting up to be a big month for dividends. Time will tell how well this month will be for options premium. As always, I keep following my plan and staying invested. That wraps it up for this week. Thanks for following along!
