Dividends, Investing and Options Trading Weekly Update 6/10/22

The stock market finished down again this week. The drop in the stock market was largely because the CPI report on inflation came in higher than expected. Because of the higher than expected inflation, it is likely that the Fed will raise interest rates even higher than anticipated which seemed to scare investors on Friday. Despite the down week in the market, I still received dividends, continued investing and did some options trading this week. Let’s check out the details for my week.

  • Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) – $28.17

In the Roth IRA this week I received the following dividends:

Wrap Up

For the week, I received a total of $174.92 of income from dividends and options premium. June is a great month for dividends with a steady inflow every week. This week I had little capital for investing but was still able to make a few buys. On the options trading front, I rolled out a couple of trades that were in the money. By rolling out these trades, I have bought myself some time to manage these trades. That wraps it up for this week. Thanks for following along!
