The Traditional IRA finished the week at about $124,473. This account is down -$2 from the previous week.

The 401k finished the week at about $11,732. This account is up $271 from the previous week but includes the regular bi-weekly contribution of about $264.

The taxable brokerage account finished the week at about $394. This account is up $27 from the previous week but includes the regular monthly contribution of $25.

The little bit of bitcoin that I own finished the week at about $26. This is up $4 from the previous week.

The total amount invested is now about $139,616. This is up $328 from the previous week. All of the positions in the portfolio can be seen by clicking “Portfolios” in the menu above.

Wrap Up

This week also included a little bit of income from interest on the savings accounts in the amount of $9.47. The total amount of dividends, options premium and interest received this week was $497.43. This was a great week for creating cash flow from the accounts. At this point, my plan seems to be working well and by the time I retire my accounts should be creating more than enough cash flow to cover my expenses and support my lifestyle.

I did some rebalancing in the 401k this week. I closed out my position in the DFA Real Estate Sector Portfolio and moved the money into the DFA Commodity Portfolio. I felt the real estate exposure in the Roth IRA through various REITs was plenty and having real estate exposure in the 401k was not needed. I also closed out my positions in the Clearbridge Small Cap Growth Fund and moved the money to the Vanguard Small Cap Fund. This position seemed redundant and I felt it was not necessary to have two small cap funds. I also closed out PGIM High Yield Fund and moved the money to the American Funds Capital Income Builder.

In the taxable brokerage account, I closed out my position in CDNA to open a position in ASML. ASML is an interesting company that seems to have a wide moat plus it pays a dividend.

This week was a busy week both financially and personally. Despite all that happened this week I still consider it a good week. That wraps it up for this week. Thanks for following along!

On a side note, I have added a Recommended Resources in the menu. It currently is a work in progress. It will contain blogs and YouTube channels that I enjoy as well as some sites that I use. I hope you take the time to check it out.
