Dividends and Options Trading Update June 2023

June has come to an end so it is time for another update. June is typically a really good month for dividends received. This June did not disappointment as I sent a new high for dividends received in a month. Options trading was also really good this month. Let’s take a look at how much dividends and options premium I received for June.

For the month, I received a total of $641.20 in dividends. This is a personal record for me for dividends received in a month. This is a increase over June 2022 when I received $498.40 in dividends. This is a 28.65% increase year over year. A big part of the dividends received this month is from the ETF SCHD. I continue to add to this position on a regular basis so this should continue grow at a high rate in the future.

Options premium received in June was best so far this year, totaling $695.10. Below is chart of all the options trades I made in made in June.

The total amount of income produce from my accounts for June was $1,371.27. This includes dividends, options premium and interest. All of this income was reinvested back into the accounts.

June set a record for the amount of income my accounts produced in a month. This is encouraging and let’s me know I am on the right path. As always, I will continue to invest and reinvest the dividends and options premium. Following this plan will allow the income from my accounts to grow. One day it will be enough to cover my expenses and allow me to retire. Thanks for following along!
